And, welcome to Septemb-Byre!...Hallo JoanneMarie!!

And, welcome to Septemb-Byre!! Your my last stop of the day!! Actually, I think Kerry left the sign-ups open, so you are more than happy to join us 'officially'!! And, about being late to the party, wells, as you will see over on my blog, my first chapters recollection only went LIVE yesterday!! Oyyy!!

Are you only reading the chapters as they are assigned!? I am curious because I think I am in the minority (or only?) Septemb-Eyre who is doing this!? I wanted to do this, for the reason you outlined yourself: to fully become emmersed into Jane's life and solely focus on each transition!

I alluded to the same notion myself, that although I have had the fire of Eyre, I have the temperament more of Helen! I believe that is on my blog, where I was relaying commentary as I read each reader's point of view!!

Thank you for joining us! I look forward to seeing what you write next week!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7858236.post-48437823101487370382013-09-11T14:25:32.735-05:002013-09-11T14:25:32.735-05:00Thanks, everyone for the kind thoughts and the wel...Thanks, everyone for the kind thoughts and the welcome. I just adore this book.
@Charlene ~ Don't you always find something new that didn't stay with you in other readings? I love that. There's always something that either didn't resonate with me before or was overshadowed, or I somehow glanced over and didn't retain. Then, on rereading, they are like little surprises waiting for me on the page.

@Alison ~ There's so much there, it's easy to be fascinated by some theme or motif and have another slip under your radar. I love seeing what everyone else found, like those Harry Potter comparisons, so cool.

@Maggie ~ Thank you so much. I am really enjoying this. Great book, great minds to pick and hear and learn from and all right there on my laptop. And I think it's great that you've been going around leaving comments on all the posts! I love it, it makes it feel like an actual book club :) I enjoyed your analysis of Jane's "early years" (it sounds like a TV show spin-off!) and I look forward to reading your future posts! - Maggie @ An American in FranceAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7858236.post-69210875254353660782013-09-10T22:20:39.094-05:002013-09-10T22:20:39.094-05:00Ack! Both have very distinct religious views, both are fighting for Jane's soul. One is all goodness and light and grace and the other is self-important and judgmental. I love that Jane ...I'm glad you are joining in! I love that Jane Eyre just drew you in once you started reading it again - I feel like that is happening to me too. Even though I know what happens I still want to keep reading! This is a great recap and analysis of the characters and I look forward to reading more fellow Septemb-Eyre! :)The HoneyNerdshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14871290381116725861noreply@blogger.com
