Some Multicultural Love

I just stumbled across this article at Flavorwire about wonderful multicultural children's books.  It's a great primer on books for a variety of ages.  I read Inside Out and Back Again last year and it was a beautiful tale.  This is just a starter list and I  could probably rattle off a dozen more that any child should read.  

While I missed Christopher Paul Curtis's Bud Not Buddy, I adored his Mighty Miss Malone, a depression era tale with an amazingly sweet and feisty heroine.
