More Book Links to Love

You know me, I can never go long without overloading on book links. I can't resist them.  They tempt me. They call to me. They multiply like bunnies!  There is no end.  So, in the interest of keeping my links collection under some semblance of control, I share them now with you.

• First up, the Guardian published these grown up coloring sheets you can download, Johanna Basford's Secret Garden. I learned from my father that you are never too old to color.  We just changed the way we did it a little. We switched over to markers and bought beautiful design books in books and crafts stores.  Basford's designs are just beautiful.  Have fun. Staying in the lines is optional.
• I'm not sure whether I've posted this before. It seems to me that I should have. It's Flavorwire's Wedding Photos of 16 Famous Authors in Love.  It seems kind of appropriate since there's a whole new kind of wedding here in New Jersey.  Same sex marriage is legal and flourishing.  I just love when people get their happy endings.
• Another visual one from Flavorwire, this one entitled Contemporary Artist's Portraits of Famous Literary Characters. I mostly love how eclectic the selection is.  You've got classics and modern stories and children's books.  
• Over at Geekosystem they talk about levels of reality in science fiction and fantasy.  Do you ever have lapses in your ability to suspend disbelief when you read?  I know that I do and it can really ruin a book.  There are some authors who just make it so much easier for you to let go and enjoy the ride. While others leave you with unable to get past the incredible sticking in your craw.
• Back at Flavorwire they've got 13 Author Quotes That Will Make You Hungry. I love that P.D. Wodehouse's quote is dryly funny, just like the martini he references.
• To end the blasted Breast Cancer Awareness month, here's a link from Book Riot Recommendations:  Fun and Funny Nonfiction.  Sure, Rebecca Joines Shinsky just discusses, Breasts: A Natural and Unnatural History.  Then, commenters fill in with plenty of books to consider if you are looking for amusing nonfiction reads.
